Garrett Hendrickson – Assistant Coach

Garrett Hendrickson joins the team after graduating from Concordia College in Moorhead in May. Garrett had 71 points in 100 career games with the Cobbers and was team Captain for the 2016-17 season. His Jr hockey career includes time playing for the Penticton VEES in the BCHL, the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in the BCHL and the Coulee Region Chill of the NAHL.

Before playing Jr hockey, Garrett played high school hockey in Virginia for the Blue Devils. Garrett is currently the 16th all-time leading point scorer in Minnesota High School Hockey history and was a member of 2 state high school hockey teams.

According to Head Coach Chris Howe of the Concordia Cobbers, “Garrett is one of the smartest hockey players I have ever coached.” Coach Howe believes Garrett will do a great job in his new role with the Iron Rangers and will be able to relate very well with the players.

Garrett will focus on working with forwards on skill development and breaking down video with the players to help them learn the game.
